Message I guess your right about the saftey parameter thing, it does depend a great bit on what you have done to the car for what paramater combinations you can run. But data coming in from real time sensors reporting detonation or lean fuel mixture situations should be independent of mods I would think.. and the software could give you a warning if you have a momentary dangerously lean situation, or unaudible pinging. I agree though if you don't know what your doing you shouldnt be tunning, but every car will react differently to the same parameters so saftey functions would be much more useful on the feedback/monitoring end.

maybe you could make it so the whole screen flashes red and it says warning danger to manifold so you can yell shut up and shut it off jk.. (f&F)...barf LOL please don't do that.

What i meant about my car though is that my boost is set to 15 not timming, I have no clue what the timing is. It is whatever stock timming is. It is just that i have heard before that when you raise your boost your suppose to change the timing, but I havn't done that.

I'd be a prime candidate for you zemultor though. I've always wanted to put one of my spare computers in my z forever now, just needed the justification since mp3 headunits are so easy to come by now. Tunning would certainly be a worthwhile cause. I also was planning to get an afc and tune over the winter anyways, and I already have the pc and a socketed ecu. All I would need is an lcd screen, a power inverter and your zemulator. So this might be a better route then the afc for me. Keep us updated on developments.
